Genesis Morocco

Project Genesis is a strategic sustainable development framework for Morocco to translate from being a net importer of energy and a country facing water shortage issues, into the number one producer both of clean renewable energy and water in the region.

Projet de Decoupage Regional

Personal Notes : Regions 10,11 & 12 are all ideal candidates for the massive exploitation of solar energy. The implementation of the Genesis Cycle with desalination stations situated on the coast allows for the sustainable colonization of the inland Sahara. Once the cycle is mastered, then sky is really the limit for the colonization of all of the Sahara with participating countries through a mesh of Oasis cities and water pipeline linking the population centers.

Why colonize the Sahara ? Because its there and because its empty while the planet's demographics are in constant growth, because technology allows it and because it falls in line with a symbiosis relation between man and the diverse ecosystems of the planet.

It is also a fertile experience for any eventual future terraforming.

Studies of wind corridors will qualify regions with good wind potential for the exploitation of wind projects.

Regions with agrarian production can contribute biomass, if desirable. Ethanol.

In relation to my previous post Empowering Regions, A Race for the Future, it is desirable to see a competition emerge between the regions, a renewable energy strategy can also be used as a lever to develop poorer regions with scant precipitations and no agriculture.

How we go about this in a concerted state is through setting standards at national level and goals for regions to reach.

Lots of potential for our Southern provinces, they could become the energy powerhouses of Morocco.
