Free energy ecosystems

I believe they are not so much things of the future, although there is a strong technological component to them, as equilibriums that have already been attained hundreds of years ago. Indeed in most indigenous communities be it the native americans, the amazone tribes or the north pole inuits have attained such symbiosis with nature and zero loss efficiency. Living with what nature provided, recycling materials obtained from their surroundings and being very lean as to their exploitation of their natural ressources.

What broke those equilibriums in other parts of the world, is mainly the industrial revolution. Like Buckminster Fuller wrote, since we started extracting concentrated forms of energy such as coil and oil we broke the balance and started consumming much more then we produced in the energy ecosystem thus entering the waste economy chapter.

We went gradually back to producing more with less, pursuing economies and a zero loss system that thus far prooved elusive.
