Genesis Morocco

Project Genesis is a strategic sustainable development framework for Morocco to translate from being a net importer of energy and a country facing water shortage issues, into the number one producer both of clean renewable energy and water in the region.

The Energy Geopolitics of Morocco in the Coming Century

  • Megasize Solar farms

  • 5500 Megawatts

  • Equivalent to 12 1GW nuclear power plants

  • 480 000 Stirling dishes

  • 437 km2

  • Province of Errachidia

  • 3200 + hours of insolation/year

  • 330 days per year

  • Project timespan 10 years

  • More than Twice the actual ONE output

  • Supplying 15 million households

  • Project Solaris will provide energy for home user needs, industrial needs and above all desalination needs

  • Project Atlas Key Metrics

  • Water desalinization through renewables

  • 6 (six) Units

  • 648 million m³ of water

  • water prices - $0.3/m³

  • 75,000m² plant x 6

  • Project Atlas will provide water for home user needs, industrial needs and above all agricultural needs

We can then be looking at reinvesting a part of the agricultural production dividends, as well as future energy and water exports, into building more energy and desalination capacity. The Genesis cycle is there to stay until we claim back the maximum of actually non arable land, allowing for a sustainable human colonization of the Moroccan Sahara desert.
