Solar Two. SES Stirling lands second contract for a solar farm.

* Sited in the Imperial Valley near El Centro, CA

The project site for Solar Two is located in Imperial County in Southern California.

SES Solar Panel on Overcast DayPhase 1 of this site will consist of 12,000 solar dish Stirling systems that will be capable of generating 300 MW of electrical power. Phase 2 of this will expand the number of solar dish Stirling systems to 36,000 units, which will be capable of generating up to 900 MW of power.

The power generated at this site will be sold in accordance with a 20-year power purchase agreement to San Diego Gas & Electric
