Genesis Morocco

Project Genesis is a strategic sustainable development framework for Morocco to translate from being a net importer of energy and a country facing water shortage issues, into the number one producer both of clean renewable energy and water in the region.

From Socal to Social

Solaris has been budgetized at about 8 billions USD, with a 2.2 USD Billions annual turnover over a 20 years exploitation period.

Let us imagine the following, that Moroccans end up owning their energy production sector, at least the Solaris part of it.

Shares would be available for sale to the public at large, rather then paying for electricity as a charge, they would pay a premium and own a given ammount of shares over say a 5 years period. After which they would pay no electricity bill whatsoever within a consumption bracket calculated on the average household consumption.

Same scheme could apply to the water bill... With the households owning a sizeable portion of Project Atlas.

In a previous topic, I have devised the capital structure for the projects as follows ;

State 40%
PMC Private Moroccan Capital 20%
PIC Private international capital 15%
International monetary institutions (world bank, arab funds, cee or other) 15%

60 percent of it is Moroccan owned, 40 percent of it is government owned, its with that quota of shares that we can establish a social redistribution scheme.
